Participating in the Helps Ministry as an Usher:

Ushers play a very important role in the order of the service.
Often times, this highly visible position leaves a tremendous
impression on the visitors and regulars alike.  Sensitivity to
the Holy Spirit is of utmost importance as the ushers assist
the Pastor in the flowing of the Spirit.  Schedules are made
on a monthly basis to allow for flexibility and rotation, to
conveniently accommodate everyone’s busy schedule.
Once the decision has been made to commit to the body
of believers at Agape, please prayerfully consider serving
in this capacity.  You will see the rewards of serving the Lord.

Participating in the Helps Ministry as a Greeter:

Mrs. Pauline Bryant has been serving the body of Agape for
a number of years as the Head Usher.  Her dedication and
commitment to this ministry is greatly appreciated.  Pauline
co-ordinates the Usher schedule and oversees the Greeter
Ministry also.  She truly has a servant’s heart and blesses
the congregation of Agape with her faithfulness to the Lord’s
work.

Helps Ministry

As a greeter, more than likely, you would be the first person seen by visitors as they
enter the church.  This is a very significant part of the ministry at Agape.  Greeters
play an interactive role in the church.  By greeting and showing kindness to everyone
that  comes to our worship services, the Love of  God is experienced by all.  It is this
initial act of love and kindness that prepares the way for the rest of the service.  May
His Love be demonstrated in everything we say, do, gesture and even think!  We are
always in need of greeters to share His Love and make positive first impression for
Christ.  We encourage everyone to prayerfully consider serving in this Ministry.
